The National Civil Service Written Examination of 2013 ended on November 25. 1117,000 people signed up to take written examinations in public subjects. The evaluation process of more than 2.23 million papers in the two examinations of administrative professional competence test and commentary has touched the hearts of the examinees and attracted the attention of the whole society.
The marking base located in Xishan, Beijing, is the scanning point of the civil service examination answer card and the database management point. The base was built in 2010 by the Personnel Examination Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Wuyuexin Company. This year, on the basis of last year, the staff of Wuyuexin redesigned the whole marking base so as to be more suitable for the service arrangement of this examination. On November 30, CCTV’s “Common Concern” reporter came here for a field visit.
Scanning was carried out in an independent building in the hospital. Two policemen were on guard at the door. Security measures were very strict. The staff in the scanning room are all engineers from Wuyuexin Company. The scanning equipment used for marking papers is ISR series high-speed image scanning multi-functional reader provided by Wuyuexin Company. Staff dressed in uniform clothes, orderly papers unpacking, scanning, checking work, page by page answer card from the machine swept, the whole marking work is tense and orderly.
The relevant person in charge said that the card reader could not modify any information on the examinee’s answer card. Once the transformed answer information is scanned and formed, the software system will automatically lock in, and the staff can neither see nor change it. After the scanning, the scoring of the administrative vocational ability test paper will be done by the designated person. In a closed environment, the corresponding relationship among the reference answers, bar code information and the types of papers will be set up by the technical personnel, and then the scoring software system will automatically process the scoring work. The application papers will be sent to six national markers for comment.
