The online marking project of Jiangsu Academic Level Test in 2009 is the third joint cooperation between Jiangsu Provincial Education Examination Institute and Beijing Wuyuexin Company in the field of academic level test. As an important part of the 2010 College Entrance Examination, online marking of Jiangsu Academic Level Test ended in April 2009 in Nanjing. The online marking technology service used 9 ISR5000 high-speed image scanner and 7 ISR9000 intelligent high-speed image scanner independently developed by Wuyuexin, and completed all the scanning work in 5 days. The online marking software used the Jiangsu version of online marking developed by Wuyuexin Company specially for the needs of Jiangsu academic level test. Software, nearly 1,000 teachers completed the online evaluation of all subjective test papers in 5 days. The whole project has dealt with more than 2.2 million papers in physics, chemistry, history, geography, politics, biology and other six subjects. No problems have been found after the examination paper scanning, the quality inspection in the subjective question scoring stage and the open examination of the candidates after the announcement of their scores.
Particularly noteworthy is that in the online marking work of Jiangsu Academic Level Test, Wuyuexin Company adopted the first technology in China that relies on image recognition for effective information. In the past, the choice of exam questions requires candidates to fill in their own paint points, which inevitably leads to the error of examination information caused by candidates’mis-painting and mis-painting. Through the use of Wuyuexin’s latest “effective information of image recognition” technology, candidates can automatically identify the position of the image in their answers, completely eliminate the grading error caused by the error information caused by manual marking, effectively improve the quality of online marking, and fully ensure the accuracy of online marking.
