in the mainland China,ISR8001 successfully completed
this important task and greatly impressed the officials
concerned with its speed, high accuracy, clear images
and smooth operations.
ISR8001 operates on two major data capture technologies,
namely direct data input (traditional OMR) and image based
analysis, combining the advantages of high reliability,
speed and accuracy of the former and high versatilities
of the latter---optical code reading, intelligent code
recognition and other advanced image processing technologies.
ISR8001 is unique with its 4 CPU processing and allows
image scanning speed to be in line with that of OMR---reaching
the high-speed of 2 double sided A3 per second, i e 4
A4/per second and allows scanned forms to be separated into
3 output hoppers. |

| It takes only ONE second to scan THREE full duplex A4
forms at 100dpi or to scan TWO full duplex A3 forms at
100dpi at 256 level grey image scanning, while reading
OMR,i.e.the typical speed is over 10,000 A4 forms or 7,200 A3
forms per hour. Actual speed will be reduced slightly
by network transport speed and data processing time. As
FOUR CPUs will be working together, it could keep the
processing time at near maximum in most cases |
