OMR (Optical marker reading), OCR (optical character reading),
and BAR (bar code reading) are the three key technologies
in speed recognition, which, as a front-end data input
means for modern computer application, have a bright future.
In the year of 1997, Maystar took the lead in presenting
intelligent optical marker reader (OMR), which integrates
marker reading with code bar reading and fully employs
serial interface communication in its connection with
mainframe, and resulted in an upgrading of domestic OMR
products. Meanwhile, Maystar succeeded in developing WINDOWS-based
application software system with single user version and
network version, leading the domestic OMR application
to a new stage.
ISR, the new generation of intelligent speed image-scanning
reader Maystar developed, opens a new page for domestic
market. With 10 national patents granted, ISR, which has
been appraised as “international standards” by the Ministry
of Education, has been widely used and well received in
recruiting offices in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Heilongjiang,
Jilin, Shanghai, and Chongqing, becoming the first choice
for speed and mass data scanning and reading tasks such
as online examination papers going-over. It is a proven
solution for users, versatile, speedy, and intelligent.

Maystar is one of the pioneers to develop and produce
CTI (Computer telephony integration) voice cards on our
own, with products tested certified by CTTL, and among
our domestic competitors, is the first domestic company
that holds network access license for telecommunication
equipment granted by the Ministry of Information Industry.
Moreover, Maystar is also the first CTI voice card manufacture
that passes ISO9001. With 2 national patents applied and
3 software copyrights registered, the products are widely
used in fields of telecommunication, communication, finance,
and securities, the stability and performance have been
well received by users and the trade. Maystar, on the
basis of improving the existing products, has developed
over 30 types of products in 3 series, with TELEWIND as
the brand, enjoying technology leadership in domestic
IT field.
V series of voice cards are the first that Maystar developed,
including digital card, analogous card, facsimile card,
and conference card, which can fulfill different functions
by selecting different modules as needed.
I series of voice cards are improved ones based on V series,
which employs high-performance DSP and retains all functions
of V series, results in more precise detection of signal
tone. While capacity increased, the cards are equipped
with facsimile and conference functions.
U series of voice cards are based on I series, with integration
of USB into voice card technology. Externally designed,
they waste no mainframe space, plug and play, and also
are equipped with facsimile and conference functions.
Maystar is the first that integrates USB into voice technology
in China.
C series are developed on Compact PCI platform Maystar
presented, which employs high-performance DSP and adopts
precise and high-efficiency DSP algorithm, are able to
carry out precise communication by means of voice, signaling,
data, and facsimile. The cards not only shares flexibility
and simplicity in use that I series have, but also inherits
high stability and high reliability that CompactPCI platform
boasts, therefore, they are especially applicable for
large-capacity and high-density value-added services in
telecommunication (Multimedia Messaging Services).
